AE Environment setup

1. Project file folder & AEP template

Please download and use the project folder template. You can use your own file folder structure to manage your files if you have an existing one. However, please use the AEP template so the team has a consistent AE file structure for better collaboration. If you do not have a file structure for your AEPs, consider configuring the AE to automatically load the AE template for your future projects (shown above).

3. Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries

Untitled

Adobe CC Libraries is a powerful tool that allows you to easily share and access the latest design assets across different formats and channels. Think of it as a Dropbox or cloud storage that is directly linked to your Adobe apps such as After Effects. This means that you don't have to worry about keeping track of where your assets are located and you can quickly access them in your project. The files are stored locally on mac at ~/Documents/Adobe/After Effects 2023/User Libraries.

To access the animation library, your team will be invited to the CC library via their student email. If the library is not loaded on your AE, check your Adobe Creative Cloud app or email for the invitation. Additionally, you can also access the animation library directly via this link:
